The Graceful Gown
The trend of gowns is directly inspired from Hollywood but the Bollywood celebrities are not to be left behind. They too wear these gowns in an awesome and stunning manner.  This is a special dress that is the reason why we see a lot of celebs wearing these gowns at a Red Carpet Event. But now these gowns are not only limited to any formal event or a special event. Nowadays gowns attract a lot of people. All females look elegant and feminine in gowns. Gown is a classical dress which comes in the “Timeless” category i.e. it never goes out of trend. Keeping in eye the craze for gowns, designers are experimenting with new cuts and drapes. We should also know how to carry a gown so as to make it look graceful. If we do not do so the fashion police will arrest us. For instance if you’re wearing a black gown, hot pink heels won’t look good and you will gather unnecessary attention. So here are some tips:
  1. Too much embroidery does not look good on a gown. And we should use minimum accessories possible.
  2. Give full attention to your hairstyle and footwear. High heels look good with heels and it also helps to make your walk look more graceful. Also keep in mind that even after wearing heels, the gown should be floor length i.e. covering your feet.
Always keep the fabric of the gown in your mind with respect to your body            figure. For instance let’s take the slim figure: Any fabric looks good with this figure. But still if you want to be specific then opt for chiffon, silk, satin type soft and rich fabrics.
  1. For a safe and better option, go for a solid or a single colored gown
  2. For accessories a jeweled clutch looks good.
  3. To hide your body flaws a dark colored gown acts a “Best Friend”.
  4. Hairstyle: Keep your hair natural, go for soft curls or waves, side ponies, messy buns, etc. And you are set.
Celebrity Peek:
Take a look at Anushka Sharma. She's wearing a shimmer net gown with a deep neckline. Her hair is in a side pony. Her lips are a bit soft tone of red. Since her face shape is round, the long earring are the icing on the cake. She has absolutely stunned me!! :)

The Spring Trend

The Multicolored Prints

Multicolored prints and stripes are a hot trend in the spring season. Since single colored dresses don’t suit all skin tones so opting for a multicolor outfit is a safe option. Colorful prints enhance our skin tone. With these prints minimal accessories are the best. Stay away from multi colored accessories like bags, footwear, neck pieces etc these things should be in single color only. Since in these dresses the use of accessories is minimal, therefore we should focus on our hairstyle. In these cases, open hair is the super best option. Wearing bright colored accessories with neon shoes makes you the center of attraction. Floral, geometrical, digital and stripes are the most favorite multi color designs. Noodle straps, asymmetrical dress, mini skirts, playsuits, short jackets, sleeveless, off-shoulder dresses, spaghettis, shorts, hot pants are in. But the classic sundresses are never out of trend.  The choice of accessories should have one color matching to your outfit. During daytime, keep the base color of the dress light or earthy. If you are having difficulty in choosing the right accessory then opt for a neutral brown or a tan color accessory. Wear sandals since they keep the feet cool if you don’t have them then go for peep- toes. Those with curls, keep your hair natural looking. Whatever you wear be comfortable in it.
And the last thing: “KEEP IT SIMPLE, STAY STYLISH AND COMFORTABLE.” :)
