Ribbon Nail Art

Posted by FeistyCat at 04:18

I am completely crazy about nail art. They are the second best thing after French manicures (According to me:P)
So basically, this nail art is about making cute ribbons on your nails.
So here it goes,

Items used:
  1. Base Coat (Transparent)
  2. White nail paint ( used here is Elle18 nail pops shade no. 39)
  3. Baby pink nail paint (used here is Elle18 shade no.48)
  4. Top coat
  5. Thin nail art brush (Even a toothpick can do)
For ribbons I used,
  1. Purple nail color (used Lakme color crush truewear shade no.13) [See little finger]
  2. Blue nail paint (Elle18 shade no.53)
  3. Green nail paint (Lakme fast & fabulous shade no.07 its called storm green)
  4. Golden nail paint (Elle18 shade no. 19)

The Procedure:
Step1: Apply base coat
Step2: After it dries, apply white nail paint.

Step3: Let it dry; after it dries apply light pink nail paint, apply it halfway from the top.

Step4: Using a thin brush, make ribbons with a dot in the centre. (Dot is optional if applied use a different color for it.)

Step5: Let it dry; apply top coat or a transparent glitter polish.

Viola!! It’s done.
