Fashion Dictionary 2012 (A to M)

A is for Aztec prints. They were everywhere from dresses, belts, denims, leggings to even shoes. If you really want to gather all the attention towards the Aztec print of your dress then you should wear it minimum accessories.

B is for belts. There were leather belts, multi-strap belts, ribbon belts, belts with animal accents and much more.


C is for color block. Wearing one shade of color with its complimentary color was a huge hit. This trend works best with separates and there shouldn’t be any prints or embellishments on the dress.



D is for Doctor’s bag. Remember, that square shaped bag which was a huge hit in the mid-2012.

E is for embellishments. From collar to waist, from wrists to side hems of jeans. They look really cute.
 F is for floral prints. Floral prints were hit in the summer-spring collection and made a huge impact on youngsters.


G is for Galaxy prints. You can make your own DIY Galaxy Printed Top with this tutorial.

 H is for hats. From fedora to beanies all look cute.



I is for Ikat. Remember those Asian like prints. They are native to Indonesia.


J is for Jean Jackets aka Denim Jackets. These can be worn with a short dress for an evening BBQ or for a morning stroll with him. They really give you a cute and chic look.


K is for knit tops.
L is for Leopard Prints/ Lace/ Leather. Leather was a hit during winters. Rihanna wore a full leather ensemble, remember?  Lace gives you a feminine and a gentle look. Leopard prints gives you a bold look.
 M is for Messenger Bags.  They really give you a ‘cute-college girl’ look.
